SkADaMo 2013 – Days 6, 7

Because I had to ride the train the last two days, these sketches were train-inspired. Generally, I love the train, but when it’s at rush hour, and everyone is suited up and zoned into their fancy phones, I feel a little lost.

6. Lost in the city. After I did this I realized it’s a little Corduroy-esque. Oh well.

7. Trying to blend in.

‘Trying to blend in’ is incredible! It seems like it could be a little scary/sci-fi for kids(?), but I love it. It provokes a story, and you drew the girls expression so well!

Thank you! ..and, yeah– I’m not sure if it’s a little too scary, but I’m still hoping a story will emerge from somewhere there!

Oooh, what a cool idea. When I was a kid I liked things like this.
